Our elementary program provides solid academic basics as well as instruction in art, music, Spanish, religion, physical education, and computers. In the early primary elementary grades, reading instruction has a strong phonics focus enabling students to develop strong decoding skills. As reading fluency is achieved, our focus shifts to an emphasis on literary skills in the upper elementary grades. Beginning in 3rd grade our students are assessed and allowed to advance to higher level math classes. We strive for constant curriculum development and improvement through faculty study, in-service training, and cooperation with other schools. Our degreed faculty is an integral part in evaluating and selecting the various subject matter curricula for our students. Our program is designed to educate the whole child through quality learning experiences. Our educational goals focus on the development of the whole child in the following areas: spiritual, physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and aesthetic.
