Christ is at the center of all we do at First Lutheran School. What a blessing it is to hear the Gospel of Christ and experience His love and forgiveness daily! First Lutheran greatly appreciates your partnership in education. Together, we are building a rock-solid, educational foundation for our students in preschool through eighth grade, equipping them with the skills needed to be successful in high school and throughout life.
At First Lutheran we focus on educating the whole child. As loving and caring teachers present classroom instruction, our students discover interesting facts and patterns in God’s creation enabling them to learn and grow academically. Students love our sports and physical education programs, which provides necessary skills for them to grow physically and to develop life skills leading to a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, First Lutheran students have an opportunity to express their creative side through our Salute to Veterans, Christmas Programs, and our Spring Play. Our students learn to appreciate the beauty which surrounds them and to capture it through various mediums in art classes.
As we begin our enrollment and re-enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year, we are reminded that our God is faithful. The Old Testament Prophet Jeremiah wrote, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness” (Lamentations 3:22-23). From upgraded technology to updated classrooms and dedicated staff, we continue to witness the faithfulness of our Lord in all things. As we prepare for the next school year, the faithfulness of our Lord is already there.
As a part of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, First Lutheran School joins over 600 early childhood centers and preschools, serving more than 100,000 children ranging from infants and toddlers to 5-year-olds and over 800 elementary schools educating over 78,000 students.
